trail running is fun!

This past weekend I participated in a trail run/race in the Santa Cruz mountains, that was put on by the Pacific Coast Trail Runs (PCTR) series. It was a fantastic event, with lots of great people and coke at the finish line! Sean, Jeanni and I decided to make a weekend trip of it and stayed in Half Moon Bay on Friday and Saturday night. I of course took a few photos on our wanderings on Saturday.

After the race on Sunday we visited the Gilroy Garlic Festival, which didn't smell as much like garlic as I had imagined it would, perhaps my funk had caused my sense of smell to shut down for the day though. I believe that is one of the survival skills necessary for all endurance athletes or climbers.

Anyhow, I hope you enjoy the pictures, and everyone should do a trail run someday. Also, tomorrow is the first day to sign up for Big Sur so I hope to see a lot of you there!

squamish!

I realize its been two weeks since I was actually in Squamish, British Columbia, so I apologize for the wait. However, here are pictures from my favorite climbing location ever. In fact if Squamish were a person I would marry it. Its simply a magical, mystical climbing place with beautiful climbs and amazing scenery. Check out the photos.

nice things!

Jeff and Barlo are my favorite grown ups to visit. They are great people and there is never a shortage of fun toys to play with at their house. As most of you know Barlo and Jeff are about to have twins, so I took the liberty of taking some photos of their nursery so you could see them. Go check out the pictures in the gallery.

Also, there should be new exciting photos in the next few weeks, as I'm going to Squamish, BC to climb for a week starting tomorrow. (Don't worry Barlo I plan on bringing some Papaya to Canada, that way I won't have any problems leaving a present for you)
